Hello Blog Readers,
This is The Boy.
My mother has invited me to guest post for her birthday. It was Thursday.
As a start to my first guest post, I want to tell you that everything that she says about me is not true. I am a sweater vest wearing angel.
The thing people ask me about the most, that they hear about on my moms tell all tabloid, are the hobo pants. They are no longer the infamous piece of clothing they once were, I have since cut them into shorts, and I do not recall them ever being documented. I decided to cut them and make them more decent because she said I could not wear them in public.
And in rebellion, I did not listen, and I wore them to hang out with my uncle and she caught me. So I had to cut them. Sorry that nobody got to see them. I am wearing the shorts now.
This is my mothers birthday post, so I do have to talk about her a little. My mother is the most social creature I think I have ever come into contact with. She is friendly, talkative, and an acquaintance heat seeking missile. I cannot go out into public with her when she does not see a friend or two. This has bugged me for quite some time. I used to make fun of her for knowing everyone. And talking to people she didn’t know in lines.
I work at Family Christian Book Store and I see people that I know all the time. So I guess that I should not make fun of her all anymore, even though the people I see all say “oh, I know your mother, don’t you just love her”.
But nevertheless, I am slowly turning into both my parents, and I definitely got my mothers social butterfly gene.
Well, I love you mom. I am very fortunate to have such a good, solid relationship with you, I feel like I can tell you anything, and that is very special to me. Happy Birthday!
-The Boy

I can’t believe The Boy called himself a “butterfly” of any kind. That takes real…uh…”strength.” Happy BSF Birthday!!! If I had known that, I would have been so much happier that day. Glad you were born.
