No Whining Allowed

Bubbas is Katie’s nickname. I don’t remember where it came from, but it has been around since the beginning. And it has stuck .

Bubbas was in dire need of some beautification. She looked a little like Skank Doggy Dog.

Plus, she rolled in goose poop. That fur was coming off.

Why yes, those are crumbs on her nose. And no, she does not have fur oven mitts on her paws. She looks like she tied one on last night.

We also needed to blend in her belly fur. She was half shaved when she had her bladder stone/hysterectomy surgery a month or so ago. She had a lot of chest hair, and very little belly fur.  As you can see, she was looking rather unkempt

So on Tuesday, while Goomba was napping, Bubbas got her hair-do. I snuck in a manicure while I had her all stressed out and exhausted. They supposedly did that when she had the aforementioned surgery, but they are way too conservative in their pooch pedi’s

That’s our sleek girl! Showing off her neck fat! At least her tongue is tucked in!

I realize some folks like her better with a more traditional Yorkie Do. But, to be perfectly honest, she stinks. It’s easier to bathe her frequently when she is shorn.

We left her some tail bling. It gives her some street cred. Don’t you think?
