I love cake, too. When there’s been a birthday in our family, Bob likes to mock me and ask, “Did you have cake for breakfast?” But, he thinks nothing of making pancakes for Magalie for breakfast. Sheesh!
By the way, Bob and I had a fruit cake for our groom’s cake at our wedding. The servers at the hall didn’t cut it. “Oh, too bad,” Bob and I said as we went on to enjoy it at home afterward.
