Big Time Cat-ty Wampus

I believe I may have mentioned that we have three cats. A mama and her two daughters. Big, fluffy, cats. Cats with very large girths.

They basically sleep all the time, but usually make time in their busy schedules to bother each other about once or twice a day. As a matter of fact, the two younger ones just ran by, growling and hissing and being all ugly with one another.

They all take their turns being the pick-er OR picked on pet of the day. Although, the Ab-Cat has observed that Lucy falls more often into the picked on category. It is Ab’s opinion that the other two are racists, as Lucy has no white on her.

It would be a keen observation, if it were correct. But I have to say, in fairness, that I have seen Lucy slink over to a completely docile, lying on her back in the sun Halle Berry, and bite her in the throat. So much for the racism argument.

Anyway, despite their on and off personality problems, on occasion they play together quite nicely. With odd playthings like a Barbie dress, a wrapped tampon, or a live bug, but they have a good time.

For the last couple of days, this has been their obsession. Skittering around the foyer, bashing into walls. The three of them huddled in a cluster until it breaks free and they start slamming around again.

I don’t know where they found it. I can only surmise that one of them travelled down the stairs and carried up up in her mouth. How they managed the closed basement door? Well, I have my theories. Theories that involve teamwork, and them standing on each other’s shoulders and working their little paws around the doorknob.

It’s a little cabbage, from Mousey’s play kitchen. They are creative, I’ll give them that.

I’m glad you told me what that was — it looks like silly putty or a giant booger!!!!

Yea that was a mystery picture for awhile. Not having had cats-well one when I was little-it is a fun to read about the antics of your cats.
