I like the last quotation the best. My oldest daughter says I look at the world through rose-colored glasses — I think she means I should be more realistic and “with it”. Anyway, I prefer feeling happy for the one away than sad for me. Maybe other people don’t get it, but that’s how it is from this gal.

I know “The Boy” being away creates a huge void right now in your home and heart, with him being a larger than life personality. Imagine all the people around him now and the blessings he is giving to all those that come anywhere in his vicinity. Be proud momma. I am very proud of you and your family and I don’t even know y’all IRL.
