The Wedding-Part 1

Hello, did you come to see some wedding photos? Because that is what we have here today.

Special, special thanks to Nurse Lauren, who got the unenviable task of taking pictures of our family!

The family picture, The Dane’s people on the left, our people on the right.

They seemed very happy that the ceremony was over and they were man and wife.

I asked The Dane if it all went as planned and she said pretty much, so that was good!

The Dane’s parents and family win the award for who came the furthest to attend the wedding! Denmark trumps anywhere in the United States!

They did not have a traditional wedding cake because neither of them cares for cake, but they did have this one to cut….

…and smash in each others face. Is this a tradition in Denmark?

I am pretty sure Mousey heard The Dane’s father ask what were they doing??!! Or someone did!

Evidently something The Danes do actually do is speeches. Many people went to the microphone to say really nice things about the newlyweds. The Dane’s family even did a funny skit chronicling their courtship.

The Boy sang a surprise song, accompanied by The Subject on guitar! It was I Love How You Love Me, originally by Bobby Vinton, the Polish Prince, but The Boy was doing a cover by someone else, who I am sorry to say I do not know a name for.

I think she was surprised!

He was joined by groomsmen and The Dane’s brothers for a verse and a chorus, handclapping included. I love this picture of The Boy with his mouth WIDE OPEN! He was singing SO LOUD! I think he meant it!

I think she got it!

Love this one too of The Boy and The Subject, it looks like they were proud of themselves for pulling it off. My cousin Lindsay recorded the moment on her phone and said she would try and get it on Youtube or something. I will let you know how that goes!

First dance.

Pretty sure not their first kiss.

The other surprise of the evening was ring bearer Goomba BUSTING out his dance moves! He owned that floor!!!

Back with part two on Monday!

Love it ! Good photos. My favorite is the groom with his mouth wide open singing his heart out. And the bride talking it all in.
