The Wedding of Miss Potter

On Saturday night Mousey’s friend Beatrix Potter was married to her honey Jeremiah. The couple met at Moody, where they still attend. It seems like yesterday the girls went to prom!

Here are Mousey, Beatrix Potter and Chip in 2012, looking all loverly.

Mousey was a first time bridesmaid. A VERY special thank you to Capri Deb for the alterations on her dress!! Mousey miscalculated on her first order, then had to buy a second dress from The People’s Republic of China to fit her properly in one particular area, and then that required it to be altered in other areas. Deb was a life saver!!!!!!!

On a fun side note, Mousey did most of the bridesmaids hair. She did a good job, it seemed to stay all night!

Here is our old friend The Button, who is marrying her very own honey in two weeks!!!! She was getting a little emotional when she saw the bride walking down the aisle.

I am going to apologize right here and now for the very poor pictures. It seemed I always had a bad angle, bad light or else I just forgot I had a camera.

The bride looked very pretty and her dress was so her!

It was a faith filled ceremony, filled with songs and words that spoke of their love for the Lord.

Mousey and her groomsman Jesse, from Bolivia! He stayed the weekend in our basement, along with the fellow on the right, Drew from Nevada, the groom Jeremy from Montana and his brother Will, who was in the Air Force stationed in Ohio. All out of towners!

They had a swing song at the reception and Jesse and Mousey gave it a whirl. The stars of that segment were Button and her fiancée, they must have had lessons!!!!

It was a pleasure to meet Jesse from Bolivia, who has a summer internship in Washington state and will be returning to Moody Bible College in a couple weeks!

Beatrix and Jeremiah with her parents. I am telling you now that I totally lifted these next three pictures off Facebook and instagram, come and get me coppers.

After the reception they had lanterns to light and set sail like in the movie Tangled. They were beautiful to see but there were some difficult to light lanterns and some that took off before they were ready and seemed a little fire hazzard-y!!!

Funny story, I saw one of these lanterns on my morning walk with Jip today!!! Just the metal frame and a partially burned lantern. What was the chance of that??!!

God bless them and their new life together.
