Currently…

I saw this over at Flower Patch Farm Girl’s blog. I am all about a good list, as you well know.

current guilty pleasure: Back in the day, before the dumb computer broke, I played a little game called Jewel Quest. It’s a big time waster, but can I just say I am AWESOME at the Jewel Quest?
current nail color: Sultry by Creative which is almost hilarious! Sultry, snort!!!!

current playlist: I am not quite sure how I got to this point, but I hardly ever listen to anything. Nothing new anyway.

current read: We are doing Crazy Love by Francis Chan in our small group. He is making me think, and clean house in my mind, always a good thing. I also started my annual reading of The Long Winter by Laura Ingalls Wilder. I think winter might finally have arrived up here in The Mitten and I need to remind myself how bad things could be.

current drink: Water or DaVinci sugar free chai. It is my own personal catnip.
current food: The last time I cooked I made Italian Escarole soup. Honey and I like it, but there were no other takers. I had no brown rice so I substituted barley. It was worthy.

001
current favorite show: Well, this is tougher since Friday Night Lights no longer graces the airwaves, because y’all know how we all loved us some Dillon, Texas. Go Lions! And heck, Go Panthers!

Honey and I like The Biggest Loser. We find it a good show to snack to. Top Chef and Castle are popular, as is The Big Bang Theory.

current wish list: A new computer to replace the completely broken piece of junk that quit us before Christmas. I love my Net Book, but she has a little bitty screen, is very pokey, and it’s getting old.

current needs: Some iron I’m thinking. I can’t seem to maintain my own.
current triumphs: We are managing pretty well after dropping The Boy off at Moody Bible Institute. In CHICAGO, for goodness sake! It would be a whole lot harder if he weren’t so ecstatically happy to be there!

current bane of my existence: The above mentioned, broken ‘puter.
current celebrity crush: Ab Cat and I were just discussing the other day that Sam Worthington looked interesting. I wouldn’t call it a crush though.
current indulgence: I have eaten out an inordinate number of times in the past couple of weeks, and had dessert on many occasions. Which is most likely going to bite me in the hiney this afternoon when I get weighed in at the ob/gyn. Can you just call them the gyn? I have no need for the ob anymore.
current blessing: The flattering black yoga pants I picked up at The Goodwill in Florida last year, see above.
current outfit: My thrift store jammies that remind me of the opening of Lost in Space, the one with all the dots. Sort of like this:

current excitement: Three day weekend!

current mood: I am dreading the above mentioned appointment with The Horse Doctor. I am adding my own, Current dislike: stirrups.

current link: I am going to link over to Flower Patch Farmgirl, whom I do not know, but is an every day read for me. I love her heart and enjoy her way with words. She always has something to say and it is always worth reading.

Thanks Shannen!

CAPRI KEL!! You never cease to amaze me! I love your lists and your way with words!!!!

My heart is with you and with your Boy in Chicago. But you are right, since he likes it there, it does make in easier. A little.

I think your soup looks yummy!

I love Lost in Space! I used to wake up every day before school and watch that with my mom…every day!

    BTW, I lol’ed at these:

“The last time I cooked” – yeah, we measure time but the last time we cook

“The Biggest Loser. We find it a good show to snack to.” – Hilarious!
